This is first wine to show any appreciable reduction yet oddly, the overall impression is a wine of freshness and energy. The focused, intense and detailed flavors possess solid dry extract levels as well as good power and this too really stains the palate on the even longer finish. An impressive Echézeaux that will need 8 to 10 years to be at its best. - Burghound
