ready-keep2006 Barolo, Monprivato, Mascarello Giuseppe & Figlio, Piedmont

Compared to their 2.5ha Monforte vineyard Santo Stefano di Perno, this Castiglione Falletto gem is more ‘campo sportivo Ethan vineyard, given its size at 6.20ha. It was cropped at 30hl/ha in 2006 giving a beautifully ethereal, silflike wine that gives you ‘harmony Ein buckets. Selected yeast & stainless-steel vinifcation (since the late  E0s) has surely helped frame the bright, detailed strawberry-like fruit, with its brilliant racy quality & calcareous finesse. Such lines!(tasted before September 2010’s bottling).
