This white Rioja has a dense core of gold with a lighter, pale lemon rim. The nose is vibrantly tropical with pineapple, mango and kiwi fruit balanced by fresher notes of grapefruit and peach. On the palate, hints of star anise and ginger also emerge alongside subtle cedar from the 14 months spent in French oak. The mouth-feel is generous and rounded, but with just the right amount of restraint and a refreshing, complete finish. Ready to drink now, it would be great alongside scallops, lobster or roast chicken.
