Description

This is in Volnay, on the flat generic vineyard territory east of the main road. But it is planted with Chardonnay, specifically the Muscaté clone, which gives a more floral character. One parcel has 50-year-old vines, the other 62 years old. The soil is deep with plenty of water. This is appealing and bright, with a little spice. Drink 2022-2027.
