Description
The nose opens with a complex blend of grassy, crushed mint leaves, green wine gums and heather honey, with dried tobacco appearing with time. The palate is surprisingly fruity, offering lychee, syrupy fruit salad and honeyed toast. Pleasantly, this is almost entirely distillate-driven, even after 24 years. The oak shows through on the finish along with barley sugar and golden syrup.
