ready-improve2019 Chablis, Fourchaume, 1er Cru, Le Domaine d'Henri

Half these vines were planted in 1964, the rest in  E9. The younger vines provide fruit and energy, the older density and concentration. The nose is restrained, showing green apple; the palate is generous without falling into yellow fruit. The texture is luxurious, with a stinging acidity to the finish. There’s power and freshness, with a lingering salinity. Drink 2022-2028.
