Champagne Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Yellow Label Brut
Product: WE16208B
Description
Philippe Clicquot-Muiron established Veuve Clicquot in 1772. It was, however, Phillipe`s daughter-in-law, Nicole-Barbe Clicquot, who really laid the foundations of the modern company. She was one of the great innovators – it was she who invented remuage, or riddling, in the early 19th century. Now it is part of the LVMH group.
With its famous yellow label, this non-vintage Champagne is recognised as Veuve's flagship wine. It is a blend of around 50 Cru village and reserve wines from different vintages. Exhibiting fruit, finesse and style, this is a rich, classic Champagne with a yeasty bouquet that truly deserves its status as a Grande Marque.
