ready-keep2010 Changyu Golden Valley Ice Wine, Black Diamond Label, Liaoning

Changyu's Black Label Ice Wine is the first press wine and is just 5% of the production, reaching 180 g/l of sugar. Unctuous, thick, deeply sweet and richly flavoured, with a spectrum of apricot, pineapple and also vanilla, which suggests the influence of new oak which, in fact, it not has not received. Almost too rich for cuisine, this is to be sipped, slowly and meditatively.
