A more elegant nose offers up notes of acacia blossom, pear, apple and hints of citrus zest and matchstick. The rich and round flavors aren't as voluminous but they're sleeker while retaining a seductive mouthfeel and particularly so on the attractively dry and vibrant mineral-inflected finale. This is a lovely Puligny villages that should develop well over the mid-term. - Burghound
