Description

Facing the ancient Abbey of Sant’Antimo, this Brunello is made from 32-year-old vines, planted in La Màgia’s high-altitude vineyards. The 2006 vintage was fermented in steel and large oak botti, before maturing for three years in French tonneau. The result is a medley of spiced damson, floral kirsch and sundried tomatoes – pricked with fresh oregano. The palate is laced with red- and black-cherry bite, with balsamic edges and chewy Sangiovese tannins. Drink now to 2025.
