A Cru Bourgeois, this chteau is owned by the same company who produce the lovely Ch. Kirwan. The vineyard is split between a clay base and a gravel base which adds an interesting angle to the wine. After some ageing the new oak mellows and the delicious plum, berry and fruit nuances open up to show an elegant wine ideal for medium term cellaring. Drinking 2000 to 2005.
