ready-keep2018 Bourgogne Rouge, Les Cras, Olivier Merlin

The young vines used for this cuvée come from cuttings of old Pinot Fin taken from the Clos des Epeneaux around 20 years ago, planted on the steep, south-facing limestone slope of Les Cras. Whole-bunch (50%) gives a delicious nose of pure Pinot fruit, with crushed strawberry and floral touches. Very elegant and delicate, it’s a massive success. Drink 2021-2028.
