The Vosne-Romanee Vieilles Vignes is a step up in quality and concentration. It is made from a village plot on the Flagey side of Vosne just south of the Clos de Vougeot wall in the climate Les Violettes. On the bouquet the wine is vivid and rather expressive fruit with a lovely filigree minerality. On the palate, it is medium depth with a intense depth along with ripen fruit.
