At just 0.35 hectares, this is one of Domaine Rossignol-Trapet’s smaller holdings; it’s enviably situated at the top of the vineyard, between the Grand Cru sites of Charmes-Chambertin and Griotte-Chambertin. The wine is nimble and lithe, with plenty of crushed red berry notes and delicate floral touches. There is a salivating acidity underneath, which is currently restraining the wine a little; this should fill out with some age. Drink 2021 to 2027.
