Our St Estèphe comes from Ch. Tronquoy-Lalande. This environmentally conscious property is owned by the Bouygues family, proprietors of nearby Ch. Montrose. This is traditional St Estèphe: both structured and powerful, it is deliciously full-bodied and moreish. There is an unusually high proportion of Merlot (85%) in the blend this year, giving a pleasingly plump feel to the fruit. A true all-rounder, this will partner your grandest roast, a mature cheddar or a simple cold collation.
